Christmas Morning Waffles

A great way start to a beautiful day with the family! Vegan waffles are easy and delicious.

Cooking time: 25 min



710 ml (3 cups) of flour

118 ml (1⁄2 cup) of granulated sugar

14 ml (3 tsp) of baking powder

2.5 ml (1⁄2 tsp) of salt

240 ml (1⁄4 cup) of canola oil

10 ml (2 teaspoons) of vanilla extract

591 ml (2 1⁄2 cups) of soy milk


At serving time:

Vegan yogurt to taste

Maple syrup to taste

Berries to taste



In a large bowl, mix together the flour, the sugar, the baking powder and

the salt. In your electric mixer bowl , pour the oil, the milk

and the vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients over the wet ones and whip

the ingredients until the dry ingredients are well incorporated. Preheat your

waffle maker on the “classic” mode. Add 1⁄2 cup of the batter per waffle and cook

according to your iron’s instructions. Serve with some vegan yogurt, maple syrup and berries!
